I studied Political Sciences because I wanted to change the world, I dreamed of ending hunger and wars and of promoting education, health and freedom. My studies were fascinating to me, I simply loved reading and discussing the current affairs of the world, and I could see all the possibilities to make significant changes. My career was especially interesting because it was so wide, we learned about law, philosophy, statistics, history, current affairs, sociology, geopolitics, and so many more subjects that gave us a true insight of what happens in the big wide world. 

However, after graduation, and a short incursion in my country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it became clear that my strongest skills were the different languages that I speak. My multilingual communication skills were very much appreciated and needed everywhere I went, and I realized I could apply them to the pursuit of my original dream, and truly make an impact on the things that mattered most to me.

 My passion for reading also made me aware of the transforming power of words. Therefore, I naturally became an interpreter and translator, working with my two native languages, French and Spanish, and with English, which is not only a language I know very well, but also one that I love.

Since I was living in El Salvador at the time, a small developing country which works constantly with foreign aid and assistance, much of my work was focused on the reality and needs of developing countries, which I anyway know firsthand, for spending so much time living and traveling in Latin America. I am seriously passionate about my work. I know how much effort is invested in changing lives worldwide, and I want to make sure that this work bears results.

For the past 15 years I have worked as an interpreter and translator with international NGOs, United Nations agencies, and private and public sector stakeholders in developing countries,  bringing communicators closer and contributing to the most important areas for human beings' development: Health, Democratic Governance, Energy and Economy in the Developing World.
